Definitely the greatest band name of the day, the sound here is classic modern indie.

Lead singer Scott Dunning has a somewhat spoken style to his voice, reminiscent of Alex turner, but also similar to Liam Fray of The Courteeners. Melodic and fun these guys are also going to be a festival smash. Their sound is modern, and the band look fantastic together with a distinctly Mancunian feel (especially with the Manchester City sky blue guitar played by Scott) - they also have a very 2000s indie vibe that could be used easily in a show like The Inbetweeners, putting a nostalgic twist on the modernity the band exudes.

The overall feel of the band is fun and extremely youthful. The first song Last Night is very moveable, with a familiar sound that is comforting to the ear, they present themselves as a band for young men, but have a universal appeal achieved by bands such as Oasis and the like. The charisma of Scott is like that of Alex Turner, a quiet confidence that isn’t cocky, just assured of his own skill - which to me is a sure standard of a class act - and the rest of the band compliment him so well, with the rhythm guitar being subtle but extremely necessary, to fully fledge the track into the indie pop number that it so proudly is. The guitars are poppy, but in a way that is still individual, and creates an atmosphere that got everyone nodding their head in time with the song.

The instrumentals of the second track hark back to The Clash initially, but then jump straight back into the sound we expect from Manchester. Though the tracks are similar, both exude a fantastic sense of self that is so impactful on today's indie scene, because people love familiarity especially when it comes to this sound.

Overall, these lads have the potential to smash the current indie scene wide open with their fresh yet familiar vibe, and I wouldn’t be shocked if they end up supporting Liam Gallagher on tour, then go on to headline a multitude of festivals and sell out shows.
